What We've Been Up To

March has been a busy family month for me! My sister Eliza and her kids came into town on the 14th and stayed at our house until the 22nd. My dad drove here with her so she wouldn't have to drive alone (her husband ended up not being able to come at the last minute), and then he flew home the next day. My sister Amy and her family came into town on the 18th and also stayed with us until the 22nd. Her husband had a BYU choir reunion, thus the reason for the trip. We had 3 extra adults and 6 extra kiddos at our house, which was a HUGE change for us! There were often decibels reached that we didn't know existed! Everyone seemed to have a great time, and it was so fun to see my family. We went to the Lehi pool, the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point, an awesome discovery park nearby, etc. Smith's was almost a daily occurrence because the kids loved pushing around their own carts so much. And after spending one day at IKEA, the kids wanted to go back a couple days later! We were able to put them in that play place when you first walk in, and leave them there for an hour. What a treat for both the kids and the moms, free baby-sitting! I have a ton more pictures from the month in my Picasa web album here.

Mmm, cupcakes!

Jump on the train! Jack loved Cole to drag him around on his truck.

Alex didn't feel well for about 24 hours, and fell asleep around 6:30. Poor girl!

Jack and I hitched a ride with Eliza and her kids back to Colorado and stayed there until the 27th, where we then flew home. I was supposed to see some friends and my brothers the day before I flew home, but there was a horrible blizzard that blew in, so I wasn't able to see any of them! It was so bad that they cancelled all the public schools around 10:30 AM. Sorry I missed you guys! This was the last time Jack and I were able to fly home, since next time I fly, I'll have two kids! I can't believe we only have two months left until the next one arrives. I'm freaking out!

Doug, Jack and I got some alone time for the first time in like 2 weeks this weekend, and we decided to hang out in Park City after Jack's nap. Jack found this horse ride that he liked. Then we ate at Ruby Tuesday for dinner before heading home.

I love the look on your mom's face in that picture with Jack. I can't tell you how many times she gave me that look... She never even had to say anything, but I always knew what she was thinking!

The pictures you posted are darling and I love reading what's up with you guys. You'll do great with #2. It's #3 that makes life insane.

Looks like you had a fun month!

Thanks for you comment on my blog. You are sweet. I know everything will be fine once the baby comes. My mom and sister-in-law are going to take me and Mike to register since we are clueless!
