Lincoln's Blessing

Lincoln's baby blessing went wonderfully! Doug did a beautiful job with the blessing. Thanks to all our family and friends that were able to make it. We appreciate your support.

The boys and me are in Colorado until the 30th, and Doug's coming out to join us on the 27th. I'll try and post some more updates while we're out here.

Funny and Growing Boys

The other day, Jack found the ice cream scoop while reaching into a drawer he can't see into. Doug said he then walked to the freezer, opened it, took out the ice cream, closed it, and walked over to Doug with this:

A couple Sunday's ago, we saw Doug's cousin Audrey and his aunt Denise and uncle Dee. Here's Denise, Audrey, Lincoln, and Audrey's cutie, Nathan.
Here's Lincoln and Nathan.
And a couple other random pictures of my boys.

Lincoln's 2-Month Check-Up

I can't believe our baby is already two months old! He had his check-up yesterday, and here are his stats:
Height: 23.3 in. (59th percentile)
Weight 13 lb. 6 oz. (83rd percentile!)
Head Circumference: 39.0 cm. (25th percentile)

So, he's got a teeny head, but weighs a ton! He got three shots, which I was able to leave the room for since Doug was there, too. Jack and I went and played with toys in the waiting room. He's such a cute little boy, but I can never manage to get a good picture of him. Here's a good smile on camera, and a couple other recent pics.

We love you, Link-bug!

Catching Up

A little over a week ago, I was able to reunite with my best fried from college, Tiffany. My good friend Cecily was also able to meet up with all of us. The three of us were roommates at BYU-Idaho our first year there. It's amazing how much time can change things! Here we all are with our kids (minus Jack who was sound asleep at this point.)
And here are our hot hubbies!
They all stayed for dinner, then Cecily and Ryan left to go back home. Tiffany and Rhett stayed overnight, where Doug was nice enough to drive them to the airport the next morning to catch their flight. It was too bad we couldn't see more of them, but I'm glad we had them when we did!
And here are just some fun pics I thought I'd share. Jack has become quite the poser for the camera, and will even say "cheese" when you tell him to now.

Jack enjoys doing and undoing buckles now. Here he is trying to buckle Lincoln in his car seat.

Looks like he found daddy's glasses here. What a goof!
Lincoln's first picture in 3-6 month clothes. Yes, it's already that time for him!

Here's Jack giving his brother kisses.
